School Budget and Election News

The Town of Chatham is served by three different school districts. Details on upcoming budget hearings and voting, as well as school board elections, follow:

CHATHAM CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT will hold a public hearing on its proposed 2023-2024 School Budget on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, 6:00 p.m., at the Chatham High School Library. Voting on the proposed budget and on board of education positions will take place on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., in the Mary E. Dardess Elementary School Gym. ICHABOD CRANE CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT will hold a public hearing on its proposed 2023-2024 budget on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at the High School Auditorium. A public vote on the budget and school board elections will take place on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the  High School Gymnasium. NEW LEBANON CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT conducted three public hearings regarding its proposed 2023-2024 School Budget in January, February and March of 2023. A public vote on the proposed budget, and to elect three school board members, will take place on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Walter B. Howard Elementary School.
