NOMINATING COMMITTEE update

The Nominating Committee, chaired by Bart Thibadeau, has been in discussion with potential candidates and plans to begin formal interviews with serious candidates next month. Following interviews, the committee will report to the Chatham Dems membership with its recommendations for candidates.

The final step will be a caucus for all registered Democrats in the Town of Chatham. At that caucus — date to be determined — candidates will be selected for the four positions in town government that are up for election in November:

  • Town Supervisor

  • Town Board member

  • Town Board member

  • Town Court judge
