Reducing the Waste Stream: The Role of Composting (Chatham Public LIbrary)

Talk by Jean Bonhotal of Cornell Waste Management Institute Department of Crop and Soil Sciences. Co-presented by Zero Waste Columbia and the Columbia County Libraries Association. Zero Waste Columbia (ZWC) is a citizen volunteer group committed to education and action that can move us towards zero waste in Columbia County. We seek to create a more sustainable and resilient world today and for future generations. Zero waste means we aim to send nothing to the landfill. We reduce what we need, reuse as much as possible, minimize what we recycle and compost whenever possible. For more information, please contact ZeroWasteColumbia@gmail.com
