Hawthorne Valley Farm "Winter Botany Workshop – Session I"

Location: CRELLIN PARK

More Information: https://hvfarmscape.org/WinterWoodies + https://farm.hawthornevalley.org/events/winter-botany-workshop-session-i/

This winter, the Farmscape Ecology Team is repeating (perhaps with some additional tweaks) the “Woody Plants in Winter—A Self-guided Course“, which they created last winter. They will return to Crellin Park and PS21 in Chatham and reflag the trees. You can then review the on-line materials (including three videos of Conrad introducing 30 “first tree friends”) and the corresponding flagged trees/shrubs at Crellin Park and PS21 in Chatham, which can be visited at your leisure from January 15 – March 20. This year, all trees will be marked simultaneously, but the flag color scheme will be repeated. It will be up to you to decide whether you want to stagger your learning or gobble it down all at once.
