Columbia Land Conservancy: Outside Exposure

Outside Explore is a CLC photo club that is designed to explore Public Conservation Areas and other natural areas in Columbia County through a lens. This club focuses on nature photography and growing our photography skills within a welcoming and friendly community.

For this event we will be exploring Ooms Conservation Area and taking a closer look at the many migratory visitors like the bobolink, red-winged blackbird, and osprey.

Difficulty: We will be walking along the Pond Loop about half a mile to the gazebo. Portions of this trail are on bridges, but mostly mowed grass areas, with a gradual incline up to the gazebo. This trail may also be muddy if it’s rained recently. Please wear appropriate footwear.

Things to bring: Camera or smart phone, water.
