Winter Doldrums? Your Libraries Have the Cure!
Winter can seem long and dark here in the Northeast—well, because it is! Our libraries are abuzz with activity and have something for everyone to chase those winter blues away, both in person and online.
At the Chatham Public Library, during the month of January and beyond, you can enjoy the Cookbook Club (in person), the Memoir Writing group (zoom), and Reaching for the American Dream book group (in person). You can exercise at Chair Yoga (zoom), learn the Whys and Whens of Car Maintenance (zoom), play at the Ukulele Jam (in person), explore your Genealogy Roots (zoom), play Mah Jongg (in person), and meet with an ACA Healthcare Navigator (in person). Kids have a plethora of activities for all ages (in person)! They can cultivate their creative side at After School Kids Craft (K-5) and the Tween & Teen Craft Club, have some fun at Shake & Shout Story Time, build at Lego Club, listen to stories at Preschool Story Hour (English and Spanish groups), BYO Book Club (ages 8-12), and more. At the North Chatham Free Library, learn about Zero Waste Columbia (in person), get Free Computer Help (in person), and do some Knitting with Sandy (in person).
