Seniors Focus Group

A dozen seniors came to Crellin Park on May 9 to serve as a focus group for the Seniors section of the Comprehensive Plan update process. Spurred on by Consultant Michael Allen’s questions, seniors talked about affordable housing, senior services, transportation and health care, and what can be done to improve life for seniors in Chatham?. They agreed that isolation is an issue facing many seniors, as well as uncertainty about remaining in their homes as long as possible.
