Recovery center open house

The new Columbia County Pathways to Recovery Community Outreach Center at #1 Taconic Place (just south of Price Chopper on Rte 66) held an open house for the community on Saturday. In addition to many other visitors, Senator Michelle Hinchey (center left in the photo), Assembly Member Didi Barrett, and local officials were in attendance, checking out the facility, and lending support to this organization.

According to their website, CCPR is a grassroots group responding to the need for education, awareness, advocacy and change in regard to addiction in Columbia County. The Recovery Center is open to the public and offers services for those who seek support, relief and recovery. Contact information and a calendar of events at the center are listed on the website.
