Election Day events
Shortly after being nominated for Town Board last spring, Chris Spencer (town supervisor candidate), Angus Eaton (town board), and John Wapner (town board) sat on Cindy Bobseine’s back porch and looked ahead. There followed months of calling on voters, explaining their ideas, recording videos for Facebook and Instagram, meetings with Dems, and listening to voters. They did a lot, they heard a lot. Now comes decision time.
Okay, after eight months of work, it’s Election Day. Now what?
First, make sure you vote, and encourage your friends and neighbors to vote. As we know from past elections, every vote counts. (Early voting is still possible Nov 4 and 5.)
Second, check the GOTV article for work to do on Election Day itself. Remember to “Honk & Wave” at the Gazebo.
Third, come to Chatham Brewing around 4 p.m. to start calling Dems who haven’t voted yet.
Fourth, come to Chatham Brewing Tuesday evening for an Election Night Watch party, starting at 7 p.m.. We should have final results shortly after 9 p.m.
Fifth, tell the candidates how much you appreciate their hard work, especially in canvassing and doing videos.
