Destiny endorses Hochul at state convention

Chatham Dem Destiny Hallenbeck gave a 5-minute speech at the Democratic State Convention, endorsing Gov Kathy Hochul’s nomination. She credited Gov Hochul with inspiring her at a college convention three years ago and giving her direction for her own move into electoral politics. Gov Hochul, she said, “is a leader in a time when we need leaders.” Destiny is a member of the Chatham Town Board and also the school board.
