Chatham Democrats nominate four

Democrats of Chatham, meeting in a caucus May 6, nominated four candidates to run for election in November.

Chris Spencer, a member of the Chatham School Board and active leader in several town committees, was nominated for Town Supervisor.

Angus Eaton, leader on several town committees, was nominated for Town Board.

John Wapner, a former Town Board member and former School Board chair, was nominated for Town Board.

Mike Hart (not pictured here), a retired engineer, was nominated for Town Justice. This was a cross-endorsement with the RepublicanParty.

All four ran unopposed after being endorsed by the Chatham Dems nominating committee following six months of screening and interviewing potential candidates.

Just over 100 Democrats attended the hour-long caucus, held at the Tri-Village Fire Company, in Old Chatham.
